This short presentatio n reviews five "textbook" data modeling tasks that are often negl ected due to time pressure, lack of an audience, or lack of tool support. F ive commonly neglected tasks will be discussed with an emphasis on why they are often neglected along with practical methods for effectively addressin g each:
