DESCRIPTION:Click for Latest Location Information: http://edw2018.dataversi
 ty.net/sessionPop.cfm?confid=121&proposalid=9513\nAre you looking for a ful
 ly documented and explained set of the Dimensions of Data Quality? Does you
 r organization have a consistent definition of accuracy, consistency, and t
 imeliness/currency? If not, consider the Conformed Dimensions of Data Quali
 ty (CDDQ) standard. The Conformed Dimensions of DQ were formally proposed a
 nd documented in 2016, and since then they have proved valuable to various
 organizations. This session documents the use of the CDDQ in the real-world
  and everyday examples based on Dan Myers&rsquo; blog (<a href="http://dime
 nsionsofdataquality.com/blog">http://dimensionsofdataquality.com/blog</a>).
  The following are some lessons learned:<br />\n<br />\n&bull; Explain why
 and how to use the dimensions of DQ (don&rsquo;t oversell them)<br />\n&bul
 l; Provide them in formats that meet the needs of each stakeholder group (w
 ith examples unique to each group)<br />\n&bull; Assume there will be custo
 mizations (but document those well).<br />\n<br />\nAs done in previous yea
 rs, the preliminary results of the Annual Dimensions of Data Quality Survey
  will be provided after participants take a paper-based version of the surv
 ey.<br />\n<br />\nOne large wall poster with the CDDQ documentation will b
 e given out via drawing at the session.<br />\n<br />\n&nbsp;
