Level:  Introductory

This presentation covers our data governance process for data migrations. In 2017, we worked with over 100 clients, migrating their data into our systems. We will cover the methods and processes we use to streamline the data migration process, common data quality issues and solutions, and how we address roadblocks to good data quality.

We will address the following:

  • What time and resource savings emerge from a streamlined data migration process?
  • How do you develop and build a data governance process for data migrations?
  • How do you ensure data governance is implemented post-migration?

We will also examine a case study comparison of the journey of our clients before and after the development of our data migration process, including a contrast of data quality before and after.

Lisa Harrison is committed to helping companies implement data governance in a practical and sustainable way. Lisa’s professional background is in data analytics, data privacy, and data governance. In her spare time, she comes up with amusing ways to explain to others what she does for a living.
